Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE),
established by Nagar Yuvak Shikshan Sanstha (NYSS), is a
premier technical educational Institution of Central India.
YCCE was established in 1984 to impart technical education
and create competent technical manpower and promote the
state of the art technology centre in the region.

The college is located in Nagpur, Second Capital of
Maharashtra popularly known as Orange City. The college is
developed in about 40 acres of land
with well maintained greenery, beautiful garden and adequate
infrastructure. |

YCCE is involved in teaching UG
& PG programs in engineering, carrying

basic & applied research in
engineering, Science, and Applied research for industries.
The total student strength is about 2300. The main
beneficiaries of this activity are the students, employees
of the institute, Industry & people of India. |

The Institute is approved by the directorate of Technical
Education, Govt. of Maharashtra, All India Council of
Technical Education, New Delhi an apex body of Govt. of India
in the field of Technical Education. The Institute is
affiliated to Nagpur University, Nagpur. |

The Institute is accredited by National Board of Accreditation
and awarded B grade for FIVE years for all eligible UG
programs. The institute is the only Institute amongst the
private Institutions of the region selected for World Bank
project. |
